About Us
Founded in 2004 by mother-daughter duo Leyla and Babette Soleil, Dance du Soleil is an Atlanta-based dance company blending raqs sharqi (belly dance) with jazz and lyrical ballet. We offer weekly technique and combinations classes, as well as workshops, and training for advanced dancers across the US.
Seasonal Intensives and Performance Opportunities
In partnership with Atlanta Fusion Dance, we offer intensive training sessions that culminate in full costume performances. Dancers commit to a rigorous rehearsal schedule designed to elevate technique, artistry, and stage presence. Each session runs 2-5 months with dates announced in advance. We offer approximately four sessions per year, providing advanced dancers multiple opportunities to challenge themselves and grow through performance.
