Dancers who successfully audition have two options in signing up for classes
Showgirls Dance Mentorship
DDS Showgirls Intensive is an exciting new dance mentorship program created for five passionate dancers committed to advancing their skills. Running from July 1 through the end of 2026, this program offers a supportive and caring environment to grow alongside like-minded dancers and esteemed instructors.

Apprenticeship Program
Not ready for the full program? You can still perform with DDS! Per-show performers audition once and are approved for the season’s performance roster. You’ll be considered for each show individually based on availability and fit.

Ohio Bellydance Festival
September 11-12
Our season kicks off on our home turf! Dance du Soleil is bringing the troupe to perform at Ohio Raqs, where our very own Babette Soleil is a featured instructor and our signature style is on the menu. An exciting opportunity to represent DDS on a bigger stage.
Essence of Bellydance
September 24-27
The crown jewel of our performance year! Essence of Bellydance is one of the largest and most prestigious belly dance events in the country — running strong for nearly 20 years. Performing here is a milestone moment for any DDS dancer.
AFBD Holiday Raqs
