Not ready for the full program? You can still perform with DDS! Per-show performers should attend the in person audition on June 24th. If you audition successfully you’ll be approved for the season’s performance roster.Â

What to Expect From Us
Dancers can expect to have the following information before commiting to a show:
Info about the choreo style, and the song and artist
Full class and rehearsal scheduleÂ
Required costume and props and links to purchase
Choreography camp schedule
Dress and/ or tech rehearsal schedule (mandatory)
Any required additional fees (ex: fee for EOBD workshop)
Option to pay for the show season for a discount
OR
Option to pay per month
What We Expect From Our Dancers
Attend the audition on June 24th
Regular attendance at classes and rehearsals during show season
Minimal absences and prompt arrival
Download the BAND app
Join DDS Classes community on BAND
Join DDS show specific communities on BAND and check BAND notifications regularly
Upload homework as requested on BAND
Take feedback in a positive manner
Be kind and respectful
Be sure you can meet all show specific requirements before signing up (costume items, workshop fees, rehearsal dates, etc)
Apprenticeship Program Costs
Monthly rate for class and rehearsal (2 hrs/wk): $160
Pay for the show season incentive: $35 per week X number of weeks
Choreo camps and workshops: $60
Private lessons 1 hr: $50Â
Private lessons 1/2 hr: $30
Extra rehearsals: at AFBD- $20 / at the Home Studio- $10
* Please note there may be additional costs to the dancer that are not controlled by Dance du Soleil, such as: workshop fees (like EOBD), travel expenses, individual costume pieces
* After being accepted into the program payments can be made by PayPal and/ or Zelle

Ohio Bellydance Festival
September 11-12
Our season kicks off on our home turf! Dance du Soleil is bringing the troupe to perform at Ohio Raqs, where our very own Babette Soleil is a featured instructor and our signature style is on the menu. An exciting opportunity to represent DDS on a bigger stage.
Essence of Bellydance
September 24-27
The crown jewel of our performance year! Essence of Bellydance is one of the largest and most prestigious belly dance events in the country — running strong for nearly 20 years. Performing here is a milestone moment for any DDS dancer.
AFBD Holiday Raqs
December 12
Our beloved local holiday show, celebrating the season with our community right here at home. A joyful, festive close to the year.
DDS EOY Hafla
December 16
Our end of the year gathering where dancers will present their personal work summary
