Shine! With Dance du Soleil
Shine! is an exciting new dance mentorship program crafted for passionate dancers committed to advancing their skills. Running from July 1 through the end of the year, this program offers a comprehensive experience with personalized guidance and unique opportunities. Tailored for our most dedicated dancers, Shine! provides an supportive and caring environment to grow and shine alongside like-minded individuals and esteemed instructors.

One monthly specialty workshop

* There may be additional costs to the dancer that are not listed here, such as: additional private lessons and classes, non-DDS events and workshop fees (like EOBD), travel expenses, individual costume pieces
Expectations and Accountability
(Please read!)
- Accountability is a big part of this program! Here’s what’s expected of you:
- Regular attendance in weekly classes and rehearsals with prompt arrival
- Audition for Dance du Soleil Showgirls Performance Company. If accepted, be able to meet the expectations for Showgirls (view)
- Set goals for the season in first check-in (July). Regular attendance of monthly check-ins and privates with minimal absences
- Regular attendance of specialty workshops with minimal absences
- Download the BAND app and join the DDS BAND
- Participate in BAND challenges and upload homework as required
- Come to all classes with a positive attitude and be kind and respectful to other dancers and instructors
- Take constructive feedback in a positive manner and learn to apply corrections quickly
- Participation in social events and enrichment activities
- Presentation of chosen choreography at the Dance du Soleil end-of-year hafla in costume
- Some social events could have additional cost (for example if we were to go see a movie together at the theater)
- Dance festival workshop fees and travel expenses are the responsibility of the dancer
